Ooops!

The other day I was reading a fellow bloggers post in which she congratulated herself for finally getting all of her Christmas decorations taken down and put away. As I read her post.. I smiled to myself thinking.... oh girl I had those down the day after Christmas!

After I finished my round of blogs, I went into the kitchen and saw this:
(those would be my Christmas dishes)

Then I went out to check the mail and saw this in my entry

(that would be my Christmas wreath)

And we wont EVEN go into the Christmas Closet

oops.... guess I better wipe that smile off my face !

I've still got greens swagged across my front porch, and the sweet, vintage glitter church (that hubby surprised me with this Christmas) that plays "O Holy Night" when you wind it up is still on my buffet. Those could be there till spring! (but the tree came down almost immediately!)

You're so funny! Some people I know don't bother taking down their exterior Christmas lights - they just don't turn them on until December!

Well those look like they could be "winter" dishes and a "winter" wreath so you're fine! I love the painting over the mirror.

Hi Diana,

I feel like I have fallen off the blog merry-go-round this week. Thank you for visiting today. I've got a lot of catching up to do. Oh yes, I remember the Christmas closet. i think that was one of the earliest posts I read on your blog. Now don't go looking. I could just as easily be wrong. Argh. Anyhoo, off I go to do some catching up. Hugs, Annie

I hope that foot was clean before you tasted it. LOL!
Now the wreath could be a winter thing and I actually think the dishes could pass for winter too.
I'm like you, I want those decorations put away the day after Christmas.

Tee,hee,hee... But they are so pretty, I can see why you haven't taken them down. Especially the lovely white composition {Christmas wreath and all}.

lol...can relate to that one! I had my Christmas wreath, a gold smaller version of yours, on my front door all year...my justification was we were renting and I would only have to store it for 12 months so i may as well leave it up!!

Love your blog Diana, will be back often :-)

Ah, we can always take all the decorations down, but it's always good to keep a little Christmas inside:-)
