Bluebonnets

Its bluebonnet time in the hill country !! Soon we will have bluebonnets everywhere
especially along our highways. Our state's love for this flower is soooo big that we
have 5 different variations of the bluebonnet as our official state flower ! I share the states enthusiasm. Bluebonnets symbolize a change of season here ( season variation is rare in the south) and they remind us that summer is fast approaching. The bluebonnets will only be with us for a few weeks... oh how I WISH that this would last longer... but I am going to remember to embrace each day. A friend passed along these words to me :

Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD.

Don't you love it when friends send such great words ????

Totally jealous of the bluebonnets. I would certainly want them to hang around longer too.

this is the 2nd blog in less than 10 mintues that i have found something I needed to jot down and make a mental note of...love that little ditty you shared.
i too love the fabulous bluebonnets. i love that you can see them for miles down the sides of the highway...there's so much stinkin' concrete in TX that the unruliness of the wildflowers are splendid!
